NovaChat is a messaging feature within the Platnova app that allows you to communicate and transact seamlessly with other Platnova users. With NovaChat, you can:
Send money instantly to other Platnova users.
Request payments from your contacts.
View your transaction history with each beneficiary in a chat-style interface.
Add notes to payment requests for better context.
This feature provides a fast, secure, and convenient way to manage payments without leaving the chat screen.
Log in to your Platnova account.
On the Home screen, locate the Chat icon at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Tap the Chat icon.
A list of your Platnova beneficiaries will be displayed.
Select the beneficiary you want to chat or transact with.
Once selected, you'll be taken to a conversation page displaying your previous payment and transaction history with that user.
At the bottom-left corner of the conversation screen, you will see two payment icons:
Icon: Faint purple arrow inside a white circle.
Purpose: Used to request money from another Platnova user.
Icon: White arrow inside a purple circle.
Purpose: Used to send money directly to another Platnova user.
Follow these steps to request a payment from another Platnova user:
Open the conversation with the beneficiary.
Tap the Request Money icon (the faint purple arrow inside the white circle).
Enter the amount you would like to request.
Select the currency you wish to request the payment in.
(Optional) Add a note describing the purpose of the payment request.
Tap Request Money to submit your request.
The recipient will receive a notification and a payment request prompt in their Platnova app.
If the recipient approves the request:
The requested amount will be debited from their selected wallet (subject to sufficient balance).
The funds will be credited directly to your corresponding Platnova wallet.
To send money to another Platnova user:
Open the conversation with the beneficiary.
Tap the Send Money icon (the white arrow inside the purple circle).
Enter the amount you want to send.
Select the currency you wish to send from.
Review the transaction details.
Confirm the payment.
Once successful, the recipient will receive the funds instantly, and the transaction will appear in both users' NovaChat conversation history.
Every conversation within NovaChat keeps a record of your previous transactions with that beneficiary.
You can view:
Previous money sent.
Previous money requests.
Completed transactions.
Transaction notes (where applicable).
This makes it easy to keep track of all payments exchanged with a particular user.
Ensure the recipient is a registered Platnova user.
Verify the amount and selected currency before sending or requesting money.
Add a payment note when necessary to provide context for the transaction.
Keep your app updated to enjoy the latest NovaChat features and improvements.
Only beneficiaries who are registered Platnova users and available in your beneficiary list will appear in NovaChat.
Yes. The recipient will receive a notification and a payment request prompt within the Platnova app.
No funds will be transferred. The request will remain unsuccessful until the recipient chooses to approve a future request.
Yes. Once the recipient approves the request, the funds are transferred instantly to your Platnova wallet.
Yes. You can add an optional note before submitting your payment request to explain the reason for the request.
